Adam Beck PS HOLIDAY PARTY – Nov 24
We hope you will all join us SATURDAY NOVEMBER 24th from 10am to 2pm in the gym to kick off the holiday season with our annual Adam Beck Holiday Party. This fun event includes a free pancake breakfast, crafts for kids, Face Painting, a Crafts Market, pickup ball hockey in the parking lot, a performance from the Adam Beck choir and a special visit and photo opportunity with Santa.
Not only is there plenty of family fun to be had, but this is an opportunity to show how much Adam Beck cares. This year, our challenge is to fill our giant gingerbread house with non-perishable food items in support of the Food Bank at Centre 55. Be sure to also pick up a decoration off our holiday tree to purchase a gift for a family in need. Let us show our Bear spirit and make this a wonderful holiday for everyone!

VOLUNTEERS
As you know, these events only happen with the help of our amazing volunteers. In the spirit of the holidays, PLEASE consider sparing an hour of your time to help us with this party that is so well-loved by the Adam Beck students. It cannot happen without you!

ADOPT-A-FAMILY
The Adam Beck Holiday Party officially launches our Adopt-A-Family campaign. Each year Adam Beck sponsors 4 families in need and provides them with everything they need to have a happy holiday. Both at the party and then outside the office, our holiday tree will be covered with tags. Each tag lists a gift that is needed by one of our families. If you are able, please choose a tag, purchase the gift, and drop it off in the office. Thank you in advance for your support. Email [email protected] for more information.
PICKUP HOCKEY GAME
Back by popular demand, we will have pickup hockey running in the Adam Beck parking lot. Please do not forget to bring your own sticks and helmets and remember that all children need to be supervised by a parent or guardian.
CRAFTS MARKET
Our Crafts Market will feature a variety of fantastic items (Sweet Legs, jewelry, homemade treat and more) to help you get a jumpstart on some holiday shopping while supporting local businesses. Our Crafts Market will also include a used book table for all you avid readers as well as an Adam Beck spirit table!
SANTA CLAUS
Making his way all the way from the North Pole, Santa will be ready to greet and take pictures with Adam Beck families. Avoid long lines at the mall and get your Santa picture crossed off your list. Pictures are available for $15 by Ali-Oop Photography.
NEW THIS YEAR – FACE PAINTING
Holiday inspired face painting will be offered. A variety of professional and colourful designs will be available for $3 per face painting.
