The Adam Beck Spirit Committee is dedicated to fostering a strong sense of belonging and connection within our school community. We believe that every student and family should feel respected, valued, and supported. Through fun, inclusive events and school-wide initiatives, the committee helps build community spirit and bring students, families, and staff together throughout the year.
Our initiatives include:
- Outdoor DJ dance parties
- Spirit wear and Friday Adam Beck gear days
- Monthly themed spirit days
- Bullying awareness clothing
- Toronto Marlies hockey game featuring the Adam Beck choir
- Alternating major sports outings: Blue Jays games (odd years) and Raptors 905 (even years)
- “Welcome to Kindergarten” casual parent-led social in the kindie yard (final Sunday in August)
- Buddy benches to promote friendship and inclusion
- Community toboggan get-together at Blantyre Park
- Promoting positive communication and school-wide connection
