Read-a-Thon is officially underway! Here are some helpful tips to get you in the reading spirit!
1. Create a reading list - what books will your child read this month?
2. Need some new books? Encourage your child to take out a book from the Adam Beck library, visit the Toronto Public Library or check out a local bookstore.
3. Know how many minutes your child needs to read to be entered into our draw and plan your reading time each day:
- JK/SK = 150 mins
- Gr 1-3 = 300 mins
- Gr 4-5 = 450 mins
- Gr 6 = 600 mins
4. Download the reading log here or speak to your teacher if you did not receive a paper copy last week.

Movie night is TONIGHT (Friday, January 24)! We are watching The Wild Robot!

Students take on the best seats in the house (the gym floor) and they bring their own sleeping bags, blankets, pillows and even their favourite stuffie. Doors open at 6:30pm, the movie starts at 7:00pm and there will be a brief intermission about halfway through the movie.
* Parents/guardians are required to be in the gym with their children throughout the evening.
