Read-a-Thon Results

We are thrilled to share the results of the 2026 Read-A-Thon! Thank you to every student who participated and their teachers and caregivers who cheered them on – you should all be extremely proud of your personal achievement.

This year we had 161 entries with a total of 182,750 minutes read!

• Dassios Cup Winner is Mme. Annis’s class with a total of 36,393 minutes! 
• The class with the most participants was a tie! Room 15, Mme Annis and Room 2, Mme Panova
• The grade with the highest number of participants was the Grade 4s with 29 entries! Closely followed by the Grade 1s, with 27 entries!

Top Readers by Grade: The student who read the most minutes in each grade receives a $20 gift card to their pre-selected favourite local business: Charlie Pickles, Ella Minnow Books, Fearless Meat, Star Nails or The Sweetest Things:

Draw Winners by Class: Students who met or exceeded the recommended minutes goal for their grade had their name put into a draw to win a $20 gift card from one of the five local businesses mentioned above. In addition, for every 50 minutes above their goal, they received another entry into the draw.
