Read-a-Thon Results

We are thrilled to share the results of the 2025 Read-A-Thon! Thank you to every student who participated and their teachers and caregivers who cheered them on – you should all be extremely proud of your personal achievement.

This year we had approx. 170 entries with a total of 171,997 minutes read!

  • Dassios Cup Winner is Mme. Bettas’s class with a total of 36,427 minutes! 
  • The class with the most participants was Mme Bettas, with Mme Gagnon-Roy’s and Mme Brand’s students close behind!
  • And the grade with the highest number of participants was the Grade 3s with 37 entries!

Top Readers by Grade: The student who read the most minutes in each grade will receive a $20 gift card to a favourite local business: Charlie Pickles, Ella Minnow BooksFearless MeatStar Nails or The Sweetest Things (if the student did not indicate their preferred gift card, they will be awarded an Ella Minnow gift card).

Our top reader in the whole school was Henry Anderson in Grade 3 Mme Bouabane’s class!

Draw Winners by ClassStudents who met or exceeded the recommended minutes goal for their grade had their name put into a draw to win a $20 gift card from one of the five local businesses mentioned above. In addition, for every 50 minutes above their goal, they received another entry into the draw.
