Monsterbash 2022 –  Return of the Spook 

Halloween 2022 is upon us and we’re back with Monsterbash!  This annual event will be held on Saturday, October 29th from 4-7pm in the Adam Beck gymnasium. The haunted house is returning as is our traditional Monstermash dance!  We’ve got a great team of volunteers creating some really cool activities for our students throughout the school.  Get your costumes ready!  And of course, parents are encouraged to participate in the fun as well.

Wristbands may be purchased via School Cash Online until October 25 for $15, or for $20 at the door. Tickets are $5 for 10 tickets (tickets are for food purchases and bake sale items).

Colouring Contest

The Monsterbash Halloween Colouring Contest is back! Teachers will be handing out colouring sheets in their classrooms the week of October 11.  Students should take their completed coloured pages directly to Ella Minnow Bookstore at 991 Kingston Rd, and the store staff will post a selection in their window as they come in. All sheets must be delivered to the store by 5pm on October 30th in order to qualify. There will be one prize winner per grade, chosen by the staff of Ella Minnow.

Volunteers

It takes a big group to pull off Monsterbash, and we’re always looking for help to set-up the night before, and teardown the evening after the event.  If you’re willing to help out, please let us know.  And for parents with highschool-aged students, volunteering counts towards their 40 hour requirement for community involvement hours, too.  Signup link coming soon!
