Movie Night – January 23, 2026
Our next movie night is on Friday, January 23. “Old is the New New” will be the theme for the evening. It will be a night for wonder, creativity and compassion. Students will vote in advance, in their classrooms, on which movie they would like to see. The choices for this movie night are:
- Meet the Robinsons
- Honey, I Shrunk the Kids
- The Last Mimzy
The winning movie will be announced on Wednesday, January 21, 2026.
Movie night is a fun night out for students where the school council sells pizza, drinks and treats to raise money for its initiatives.
Students take on the best seats in the house (the gym floor) and they bring their own sleeping bags, blankets, pillows and even their favourite stuffie. Doors open at 6:30pm, the movie starts at 7:00pm and there will be a brief intermission about halfway through the movie for movie trivia.
Parents/guardians are required to be in the gym with their child(ren) throughout the evening.
