Unplugged session – How to protect kids
You are invited to a free talk next Tuesday, October 28th, by local psychologist Dr Zia Lakdawalla about how technology is reshaping childhood. Learn why children’s developing brains are not equipped to handle constant digital stimulation, and how excessive screen time affects sleep, attention, emotions and relationships. This practical hope-filled session will give parents the tools to set healthy limits around phones and social media, build stronger real-life connections with their kids, and help your child thrive in a wired world.
The talk will take place at Kew Beach school at 101 Kippendavie Ave, and will begin at 6.30pm (scheduled specially to accommodate the Jays game 4 that night!) The talk is not intended for kids, and there is free childcare available on site.
RSVP here or show up on the day.
