Visiting Artists Committee: 2019-20 Update
Every year the Visiting Artists Committee, which is made up of teachers and parents/caregivers, brings enriching arts experiences to the students at Adam Beck.
This year we are focusing on bringing Theatre and storytelling experiences to the school. Thank you to all committee members for working together to formulate a vision and find and book these wonderful artists!
We are excited about the artists and performances we have booked so far. They are listed below with links you can follow to get details.
- Motus O Dance Theatre (grades 3/4 to 6)
- Rabbit and Bear Paws
- Nathalie Vachon (kindergarten and primary grades)
- Dufflebag Theatre
We are also arranging author visits and musical performances. In December, author Nadia L. Hohn shared her books with English classes and a few French classes. We’ll share details about more artists once we have booked them. Keep an eye on the school council Facebook page (@AdamBeckSchoolCouncil) for updates in the new year.
