Holiday Party Wrap Up

The Adam Beck Holiday Party was a huge success this year and was such a lovely way to kick off the holiday season! Santa’s special visit to Adam Beck provided countless smiles for our visitors and the wonderful performance by members of Scarboro Music had everyone humming their favourite holiday tunes.  Special thank you to Dyson Valu-Mart for their amazing contributions to our awesome breakfast that left no one hungry!  Our wonderful local vendors showcased their beautiful items, that no doubt helped to give many a jumpstart on their holiday shopping!

Thank you to the Holiday Party committee members who donated their time to create such a fantastic event:  Lisa Armstrong, Lisa Tait, Julie Middleton, Paula Adam, Rebecca Imrie, Shannon Weir, Samantha North, Michelle Weeks, Sandra Irvine, Heidi Visser, Christa Jay, Sarah Nelson and Pam Warrington Scott.

Special thanks to Lisa Tait (Lisa Tait Photography) for taking and sending out the amazingly beautiful Santa photos.  

Thank you so much to the amazing volunteers who came out to flip pancakes, work the arts and crafts table, supervise ball hockey, collect cans for the food drive, assist with face painting, help with the Adopt-a-Family Giving tree, and help with clean up.  We can only have these events because of your incredible generosity of time and dedication. 

A huge thank you goes out to Mr. Mason and the choir who ended the event with a beautiful sing along.  It was so touching to see our beautiful school community come together.

Thank you to the Adam Beck community for kicking off our Adopt-a-Family program.  Because of your generosity, we will be able to support local families in need, helping to make their season a little brighter.  We were also able to send over 250 food items and over $500 to Centre 55’s food bank this year. Thank you so much for your very generous donations.  We are thrilled to announce that the winners of a “gym class of choice” for bringing in the most food items were Ms. Lipsett’s JK/SK class, Ms. Nason’s grade 2/3 class and Mr. Bines’ grade 5/6 class.  Thanks to Ms. Smith for offering this great prize!

A huge thank you goes out to Ms. Scenna and Ms. Newnham-Kanas for their support of this event as well to our amazing caretakers, Greg, Nick and Ken for helping to set up andclean after the party.
