On Monday, February 5, we had an exciting assembly with speakers from YouthSpeak.ca and the Marlies Assistant Captain, Rich Clune for grade 1-6 students. Marlies mascot “Duke” the dog visited the JK/SK classrooms and also got the students pumped up during the assembly.
AB day with the Marlies fundraising event on Sat. March 3 @ 4pm is fast-approaching! Tickets are $20 each and can be purchased online at Munchalunch.com (click on Fundraising tab). Everyone over the age of 2-year old attending this game/event requires a ticket, including students in the choir.
Deadline for purchasing Adam Beck group tickets is February 9. Let’s show our Adam Beck school spirit!
Event Highlights:
- Our amazing Mr. Mason will be leading the AB choir in singing the Canadian and American Anthems before the start of the game
- 40 students will be randomly selected to be in Fan Tunnel #3 (high five the Marlies as they walk from their dressing room to their bench before the start of the 3rd period)
- 2 students will be randomly selected to be 1st intermission Zamboni Riders (ages of 7-11)
- All AB ticket holders will be invited to a Post-Game Family Skate (max 250 people on the ice at once) from 7:00pm – 7:50pm
