Mental Health and Well-Being Committee

The Mental Health and Well-Being Committee at Adam Beck is dedicated to supporting the emotional and mental wellness of all students. Led by a parent lead and co-lead, this committee welcomes new parent members at any point throughout the school year.

Some of the initiatives led by this committee include:

  • The creation and ongoing upkeep of the Adam Beck Student Wellness Room
  • Development of classroom self-regulation games for indoor recess days
  • Guest speaker events on topics related to mental health and well-being
  • Collaboration with staff to establish student groups that promote kindness, inclusion, and awareness
  • Support for Pink Shirt Day and other school-wide kindness initiatives
  • Launching efforts to raise awareness around screen addiction and its impact on mental health

If you’re passionate about any of these topics—or have a new idea you’d like to champion—consider joining us or reaching out to start the conversation. Together, we can help make Adam Beck a safe, supportive space for every student.
